If you are running OS X 10.5.7 on an older PowerPC iMac, Silverlight cannot be downloaded and won't work. If your iMac is an Intel iMac and running, at least OS X 10.5.7 then you can install this plugin. But it isn't the Container that is causing the 'Silverlight. I am using Windows 7 64bit Ultimate and for some reason I had a problem that I have seen many people on here was having and was blaming Firefox's Plugin Container when watching Netflix or anything using Microsoft's Silverlight. Right click on 'Silverlight2.0.pkg' and choose the 'Show Package Contents' menu item. If you do not have the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in installed on your computer you will be prompted to do so. Go to the folder where you downloaded the Silverlight plugin. This time it worked, or maybe I just configured it correctly, because I WAS eventually able to stream Netflix. I reinstalled Silverlight 5 and then ran the Silverlight Debugging Configuration.app again. ![]() Update to my post above-I still have NOT managed to reinstall Silverlight 4, but I have managed to get Silverlight 5 to work on the Mac.
